This is a spacious self catering holiday cottage in a barn conversion It retains its character with exposed stonework, original beams and an old pitch pine floor throughout.
This is not at the expense of comfort, as the cottage has oil-fired central heating with radiators in each room and hot water on demand. Both electricity and oil plus towels & linen are included in the price.
The entrance leads to a flag stoned hallway which will easily accomodate a couple of bicycles. On this level there is also a utility room which has a sink and also houses the boiler. The boiler provides plenty of warmth all year making this a great place for drying out walking gear. The stairs take you up to the spacious living accommodation.
The living room and kitchen/dining room are fairly open plan. The advantage of being on the upper floor allows you extensive views over the surrounding fields and garden.
The kitchen opens off the living room so that you can chat to your other half whilst cooking. It has fitted units, electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. We have tried to equip it to avoid you having to rush out to buy yet another garlic press... etc. No need to worry about kitchen roll and cling film either!
The living room has a colour TV with Freeview and DVD player. There is a library of DVD's, books & games plus a good selection of tourist information to help you plan your holiday. There is also free wireless internet access so you can Wi-Fi to your hearts content - useful if you need to google what to see and do whilst you are on holiday.

A hallway leads from the living room to the bathroom and bedroom.
The bathroom has a toilet, basin, bath with overhead shower, shaver point and a heated towel rail. Hand towels and nice big bath sheets are provided plus a few little extras such as bubble bath.
The spacious bedroom has a Gothic inspired king-size bed and is furnished with a double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets in pine. Bed linen and a choice of summer or winter duvets are provided.
